I am proud to be principal of Ranch View Elementary School. I attended Mountain View School District from 6th-8th grade and began my teaching career in the district in 1982. I taught 6th and 8th grade English Language Arts and PE for 6 years years before serving as Assistant Principal for another 9 years and then finally serving as principal for an additional 6 years. I became principal of Ranch View School in 2003 and enjoy working with the students, parents, and staff.
In my free time I enjoy reading, especially historical fiction. My favorite author is Francine Rivers and I have read several of her books including "Redeeming Love" and the Mark of the Lion series. My favorite televison shows are "So You Think You Can Dance" and "24". I also enjoy listening to Gospel and Country Music. Two of my favorite movies are "Gone With The Wind" and "The Patriot". My most memorable vacation was the trip I took to Turkey and Israel. My favorite color is red and I enjoy eating tacos, spaghetti, and chicken. When I'm not indoors you can find me somewhere outside gardening.
