Mrs. Kostyk
Mrs. Mazaedian was my favorite teacher! Before each test we pout on our "thinking caps", special hats she had for us. No one was embarassed, because we were sure they made us smarter.

Mrs. Lebron-Frazier
One of my most fondest memories goes back to Kindergarten. Mrs. Hotneds was the most loving teacher ever. I spent many a day at the beach or at her home on the weekends. Every student would be so lucky to have had her.

Mrs. Meyers
I grew up in Long Beach, CA where the elementary schools went through the 6th grade. When I was in 4th, 5th, and 6th grade I was privileged enough to be one of our school librarian's helpers. When I got finished with my work in class, I got to go to the library to help stamp returned or re-shelf books. I also got to be one of the first ones to read and review the new books that came into our library. When I was nine years old Island of the Blue Dolphins was published and I was the first one to get to read and review it. I loved the story and have read it many times throughout my life.

Mrs. Scrivner
I remember my kindergarten teacher. Her name was Mrs. Golden. She loved to play the piano while we took our naps. She was a good teacher.

Mr. Serian
When I was in third grade, our classroom didn't have any whiteboards with markers for writing. Our teacher used chalk to write on a large green chalkboard. Whenever our teacher couldn't find her chalk, we all knew that the Chalk Eating Monster that she kept in the closet had creeped out to get a snack. We never actually saw the Chalk Eating Monster, but we all knew he was there. He always seemed to be very hungry!
