Mrs. Gregorek
My favorite teacher was Ms. Snyder. She taught seventh grade Language Arts. She made all of her students feel successful. I learned to enjoy writing, especially poetry. I still remember a poem that I wrote called, "Ambiguity".

Mrs. Kerwin
Miss Lopez stands out in my mind. She appreciated creativity. When I got the bright idea to do my research report on Paracatin, a volcano in Mexico, in first person as the volcano, she not only embraced the idea, she showed it to other teachers as a good example. It took a very observant caring person to look beyond the quiet messy haired little girl who had been in five different schools and see the person she could become. It was the first time I thought of myself as smart.

Mrs. Kidwell
Mrs. Kerwin was my fifth grade teacher when I had moved here from Vermont. She helped me transition the move quickly and with care. I will always remember what an important role she played in my life!

Mrs. Wallace
In elementary school I loved to play on the swings. Next to the swings was a large tree. My friend and I loved to spend our recess trying to swing high enough to touch the trees.
