Mrs. Carrasco
I remember 5th and 6th grade with Miss Wilson. We raised money and took a trip to Sacramento. We got in an airplane (my first time) and few to see Sutter's Mll and the state capital. Wow, what an incredible day!

Mrs. Clark
I don't have very many memories of school--maybe because it was so long ago--but I do remember this: When I was in 2nd and 3rd grade, I lived in Denmark. The principal of our school used to come in and read to our class everyday. Imagine how surprised I was the day she began reading a very American story--"Little House on the Prairie" in Danish!

Mrs. Henningsen
My third grade teacher was Mrs. Yarborough. I remember her as making school so much fun. Sometimes she would release us to recess by saying our last names backwards. When you recognized your name, you could go out. I remember listening very, very carefully to hear my name (which at the time was Stoutenburg). It was hard enough
for some people to say Stoutenburg the right way. Mrs. Yarborough would say, grubnetuots (grub-ne-tuots) and I would run out to recess. She definitely was a wonderful teacher with a very special talent!

Mrs. Marks
When I was in 4th grade I had a very passionate teacher, Miss Donner. We studied every mission of the Apollo Space Program. It was also a very sad time because MArtin Luther King Jr. and Robert Kennedy were both killed. Our teacher decided that we should all do something positive and get POW bracelets. I still have mine today and have lots of great memories of 4th grade.
