Mrs. Jaques
When I was in the 3rd grade, my teacher, Mrs. Limon asked why I was crying. I was sad because my grandfather had passed away that day. Mrs. Limon gave me a big hug and let me stay in her room at recess to straighten her bookshelf. I'll always remember her kindness and compassion which guided me to become a teacher.

Mrs. Mack
Mrs. Penn was my 6th grade teacher. I was a very shy student. She didn't have any children. So she would take me home for the weekend. We would read all weekend and have lots of fun. I felt like an only child for the weekend. I was one of six children in my family.

Ms. Walker
Mrs. Van Horn was my first grade teacher and I loved her class. I knew I was going to be a teacher because she made school fun. I will never forget the stuffed owl who sat in the corner keeping a watchful eye on the class.

Miss Won, 2/3 combo
My favorite memory of elementary school was when I went on a field trip to the tide pools with my 6th grade class. I can remember my 6th grade teacher giving us a tour of the tide pools and eating lunch on the beach with our class.
