I believe that all students are in class to learn. Behavior which interferes with this learning process will not be tolerated. The classroom will be a positive environment where each student is treated with respect and consideration.
Each student’s success will be encouraged and recognized.
The rules in our classroom are very basic. They are:
1. Listen when others are talking.
2. Follow directions.
3. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.
4. Work quietly and do not disturb others.
5. Show respect for school and personal propery.
6. Work and play in a safe menner.
The reward for following the rules are stickers, daily good behavior notes and lots of praise.
The consequences for unacceptable behavior are based on a card system. For each infraction, the child must change their color card. The colors are as follows:
Purple Great day at school
Yellow Warning / Ticket home
Red Miss 1 recess / Ticket home
Orange Phone call home / Ticket home
Blue Time out in another classroom /Talk with Principal
