Ranch View's Wellness Policy includes these main guidelines:
- Parent authorization is required before serving anything that takes the place of a student's lunch.
- No treats are to be provided prior to lunch.
- No treats are to be sent with lunch.
- No homemade treats will be served to students.
- No parties are allowed on minimum days.
- The number of parties is limited to 2 or 3 for the entire school year.
I ask for your cooperation and support in honoring the school's wellness policy. If you wish to send birthday treats for your child, I ask for only a granola bar and juice box. They will eat it at afternoon recess, which is only 10 minutes long.
