Please always call or send a note when your child is absent. If you know ahead of time that your child will be absent, please notify me so I can put together some work. If your child misses several days in a row, it’s a good idea to come in and get their work after a day or two, so they don’t fall too far behind. When your child returns after an absence, I will provide a “We Missed You” sheet, listing all the assignments that were missed. Your child has as many days as they were absent to complete the work.
School begins promptly at 8:00. Your child is late if he/she has to open the door to enter the classroom after the rest of the class is already inside. Please help your child develop important life-long work and study skills by insisting that they arrive at school on time.
